KBG Chambers hosted two students last week for the Bar Placement Scheme with the Bar Council

KBG Chambers hosted two students last week for the Bar Placement Scheme with the Bar Council. The students spent a week in Chambers, observing a variety of hearings in family, civil, and criminal matters. They were a pleasure to have within chambers, and we wish both students the best in the future.

The students were also able to experience our Royal William Yard office in the bright sunshine.  KBG Chambers understands the importance of a work-life balance, and this is reflected by the location of the Chambers, where members and clerks can enjoy the incredible views the south west has to offer.

The Bar Placement Scheme enables students from widening participation backgrounds to experience life at the Bar. The scheme is key to efforts to improve access to the Bar and to celebrate contributions made by the profession to improve social mobility.
