KBG Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of Deni Mathews as a Circuit Judge

The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Shrewsbury Crown Court

KBG Chambers is delighted to announce the appointment of Deni Mathews as a Circuit Judge. The Lady Chief Justice has deployed him to the Midlands Circuit, based at Shrewsbury Crown Court, with effect from 10 February2025. 

Deni Mathews will be known as His Honour Judge Deni Mathews. He was called to the Bar (Gray’s Inn) in 1996. He was appointed as a Fee-paid Judge of the First-tier Tribunal, assigned to the Immigration and Asylum Chamber, in 2006 and as a Deputy District Judge in 2021.
