Last week Hollie Gilbery had a double success at Exeter Crown Court.
In her first trial, Hollie represented a client on trial for assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The client was acquitted after just 26 minutes of jury deliberation.
This was then followed by Hollie representing a defendant with complicated neurodiversity issues on trial for rape. After cross examination of the complainant alone and without calling the client, he was found not guilty.
The case (R vDM) involved a cut throat defence between two leading members of rival organised drug lines in the Hertfordshire area.
