Four acquittals in one week for KBG’ Criminal Team

Last week KBG Chambers’ Criminal Team secured four acquittals after trials in Exeter and Plymouth.

Nicholas Lewin secured the first acquittal after a 6 day trial in Exeter Crown Court. The defendant was charged with serious sexual offences.

Ali Rafati continued the success in Plymouth Crown Court, with an acquittal after a 4 day trial where a defendant was charged with sexual offences.

Katie Churcher & Christopher Cuddihee concluded the week with a double acquittal when representing 2 defendants both charged with ABH.

These results affirm that KBG Chambers’ Criminal Team is one of the leading Criminal Teams in the South West, with several members now featured in the Legal 500 2027 edition.
