Feleena Grosvenor held her 3rd criminal barrister workshop for Pathways to Law at Exeter University

On 16 September 2026, Feleena Grosvenor held her annual criminal barrister workshop for Pathways to Law at Exeter University, with assistance from Ella Griffin.
Pathways to Law, https://law.exeter.ac.uk/community/pathwaystolaw/, is a programme which provides opportunities for sixth form students who are interested in law, and is offered through 7 UK universities. The programme targets high-achieving students in state schools and colleges who will be the first generation in their family to attend university.
The criminal workshop provided an insight into how the students can become a criminal barrister and what to expect as one. Feleena and Ella explained and demonstrated the common “plea in mitigation” exercise found at interviews for Bar school and pupillage. It was an interactive opportunity for the students to try their advocacy.
