KBG Chambers has a very well-established criminal team, with counsel appearing in all tiers of the criminal courts. Our team has strength in numbers and depth of experience and counsel are frequently involved in the most serious, high profile and complex cases in the region.

We believe we are the most cost-effective chambers on the Western Circuit. New members will benefit from being part of a dynamic and extremely busy chambers. With our office at the Royal William Yard, Plymouth, we offer great facilities in an amazing and vibrant setting, and our Truro chambers is the only barristers’ chambers in Cornwall.

With the guidance and support from our dedicated clerking teams, we will look to build you a practice that suits you. We cater for all different types of personal circumstances, maintaining and develop established practices, while factoring in a work life balance that suits the individual. Our clerking team are forward thinking and offer an efficient and high level of service to all tenants.

New tenants can take advantage of our attractive welcome package, and while probationary tenants do not pay chambers’ rent, they are allocated a supervisor and junior tenant as a mentor.
