The LFJB (Local Family Justice Board) Truro, in conjunction with KBG Chambers, has arranged some training at Trelissick House, National Trust, Truro, to include a cream tea on the afternoon of 11 June 2025.
The key speaker will be Dr Anna Gough, consultant clinical psychologist looking at the Emotional Impact of Working within the Family Justice System This will be followed by a talk from Julie Goodwin and Sandra King from Cornwall Council looking at Fostering and the search for placements for children in Cornwall There will be an opportunity for questions and answers.
The session will be opened by District Judge Taylor and closed with comments from HHJ Richards, Designated Family Judge for Cornwall As well as notching up CPD and learning from the session, it is a good opportunity to see colleagues away from the work setting and to have the famous Trelissick National Trust cream tea.
