Practice overview
Sam has a purely Court of Protection practice and regularly appears for local authorities in relation to:
- S.21A (Residence and Care) matters and
- S.16 (Best Interests) matters.
He also represents individuals in relation to property and finance cases particularly relating to LPAs and deputies.
Sam brings a wealth of real world experience to his Court of Protection work having worked internationally in finance and corporate law and in a previous career as a broadcast journalist.
His approach is conciliatory, aimed at securing the best outcome and best decision in the case. Clients describe him as friendly, approachable and very thorough. He is based in the South West and is happy to travel.
Sam is also accredited to accept instructions on a public access basis and is a qualified mediator.
