Feleena Grosvenor
Barrister
Practice overview
Between October 2022 and October 2023, Feleena successfully undertook a mixed criminal and family pupillage at KBG Chambers under the supervision of Nicholas Lewin and Charlotte Ash.
Feleena secured tenancy in 2023 and swiftly built a busy criminal and family practice where she acted for individuals and professional bodies (including the local authority, police, probation service, and councils).
In 2026, Feleena narrowed her practice to exclusively criminal law.
Prior to joining chambers as a pupil, Feleena worked in the legal industry for several years. This included working within the Specialist Personal Injury (Abuse) department at a London Solicitors firm where she pursued claims for compensation for claimants. Her clientele were largely survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Within this role, Feleena contributed to two investigations of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse and managed many applications to various redress schemes (CICA, CICB, HIA Northern Ireland).
Feleena previously volunteered with the Prison Advice and Care Trust as a co-ordinator where she assisted the staff at HMP Belmarsh and the family members visiting imprisoned individuals. She also previously volunteered with the Schools Consent Project, presenting sessions in Devon and Cornwall.
By working extensively with vulnerable people for many years, Feleena is able to swiftly build rapport with clients or witnesses from any background and at any stage of proceedings.
Expertise
Criminal Law
Feleena prosecutes (Level 2 CPS Prosecutor) and defends all general criminal matters in the Crown Court and Magistrates’ Court. Feleena is often instructed on sensitive matters such as offences involving indecent images and domestic abuse.
Early on in her pupillage, Feleena successfully opposed a defence application in the Crown Court for a stay for abuse of process in relation to two co-defendants accused of racially aggravated stalking. Feleena also successfully opposed the admission of hearsay evidence in the Magistrates Court which resulted in serious charges of multiple assaults and coercive and controlling behaviour being dropped by the prosecution.
As a tenant, Feleena has successfully secured suspended sentence orders for several defendants who admitted possession of bladed articles, including where this was not their first offence of this type and the minimum term applied.
In 2024, Feleena defended a client who pleaded guilty to violent disorder at the so-called Plymouth “far-right riots”, alongside a co-defendant. The Judge commented that the defence advocates could not have said or done more in mitigation for their clients.
In 2025, Feleena secured a conviction after a Crown Court trial in relation to allegations of the disclosure of private sexual images (commonly referred to as “revenge porn”). The officer in the case described Feleena as demonstrating a strong work ethic and professionalism, balanced with good humour, throughout the trial process.
