Alison has wide ranging experience in all areas of family finance; including cases where the assets are substantial, where there is a family owned business, a family trust, where the interests of third parties are in issue, where there are pre or post nuptial agreements and pre or post nuptial settlements.
Alison is also experienced in s.37 applications, applications for interim maintenance, applications for legal services orders and applications for costs orders.
Alison has been practicing at the Bar since before the introduction of Pension Sharing Orders and, having closely followed the development of this technical area of the law, she has acquired a huge depth of knowledge around “pensions cases”; which are an area of special interest to her.

Alison has wide ranging experience in all aspects of private law Children Act applications; including leave to remove from the jurisdiction, internal relocation, applications made by grandparents, applications where the child was conceived as a result of donor sperm and specific issue applications concerning vaccination and home education.
Alison has extensive experience in all the types of fact finding hearings which impact upon the decision making process for children in private law proceedings. In particular, Alison is widely experienced in undertaking fact finding hearings where the allegations involve sexual abuse and or allegations of parental alienation.
Alison is also very experienced in Schedule 1 Children Act applications.

Alison is frequently instructed in complex fact finding hearings; including but not limited to cases where there are allegations of sexual abuse or non accidental injury.
