Success for Nick Lewin after a 10 day trial

Success for Nick Lewin after a 10 day trial

Nick Lewin recently defended a local large building company against a prosecution by the HSE following an accident at one of their contract sites.

After a ten day trial the jury returned a not guilty verdict and the company’s impeccable and hitherto unblemished record for health and safety was maintained.

Further, the company had expressed the importance of being able to maintain a positive working relationship with the HSE post-trial. Thanks to Mr Lewin's robust but fair approach throughout proceedings, this was achieved.
