Ella Griffin
Pupil - 1st Six
Practice overview
Ella commenced pupillage in April 2026 after successfully completing the Bar Course in October 2025. Ella is undertaking a civil law pupillage under the supervision of Rawdon Crozier and is currently completing her first six.
During her part-time Bar Course studies, Ella worked as a tax litigator and a housing and homelessness paralegal. In these roles, Ella defended appeals in the First-tier Tribunal and provided advice and County Court representation under the HLPAS.
Previously, Ella was a Clerk at the Royal Courts of Justice. She also volunteered as a caseworker on death row appeals and supported witnesses giving evidence in Crown Courts.
Ella is committed to promoting diversity and inclusion at the Bar. Before commencing pupillage Ella worked in a partnerships role at Bridging the Bar, and during her undergraduate degree she was a moot mentor with a charity that supports social mobility in the legal profession. She also wrote her LLM Dissertation on the socioeconomic impact of Bar Course scholarship policies.
