KBG Chambers are currently welcoming applications to join our Civil team, either probationary tenancy (Third Six), full tenancy or converting to The Bar from being a solicitor.

KBG Chambers is a leading set on the Western Circuit. We are seeking to expand our established Civil Team due to a surplus of work. Chambers has received multiple recommendations for both individuals and practice groups in the Legal 500 and has long established relationships with leading regional and national firms.KBG Chamber’s civil group provides an established team of dedicated barristers who offer a broad range of experience and depth in civil matters. Our approach is to become an integral part of the client’s legal team.We have built and developed strong working relationships with our solicitors, who regularly instruct members to advise and appear at every stage of litigation. The clerking team at KBG are able to build a bespoke practice for you and look at creating and building relationships with new and existing solicitors. We advise and represent clients in a variety of areas of law including Personal Injury, Landlord & Tenant, Employment, Planning, TOLATA, Trust, Probates & Estates.

Why KBG Chambers? Members are clerked as individuals, with an experienced clerking team  who support them in their chosen work pattern and discipline. A bespoke clerking service ensures healthy well-being and work life balance whilst still earning high levels of income.Chambers provides all of this at extremely competitive levels of contribution to chambers, vastly lower than sets in London and the bigger cities. We have a welcome financial package for new members which assists members in terms of contributions paid.

Why the Western Circuit? Beautiful coastline and moorland, friendly colleagues, competitive costs and a set with a surplus of work. It’s an ideal place both to live and work. We can happily advise and assist with any relocation, making sure it is as smooth a transition as possible. If you would like to make an application or have an informal conversation please contact Deni Mathews, Head of Chambers, on dmathews@kbgchambers.co.uk or Colin Palmer, Senior Clerk, on colin@kbgchambers.co.uk or call us on 01752 22155
