Empowered Women Empower Women: WCWF launches series of inspiring online events

Members of chambers Charlotte Davies and Jenny Kumeta  attended the Western Circuit Women Forum's first online event as part of its Empowerment Series earlier this week.

Tim Collins gave a fantastic talk on judicial applications -seeking to encourage more women to apply. The event was also attended by Jo Martin KC and Kate Brunner KC, who were able to share their valuable experiences and advice with those present. A Q&A session followed, with attendees being able to ask Tim, as well as those present who had judicial appointments, the burning questions about when, how and why to apply.

The series continues on 25th September 2024 with a talk from Nadine Stanton on "Killer Confidence". If you wish to attend please email wcwf@westerncircuit.co.ukfor the link. More information can be found on the attached flyer.

Charlotte and Jenny both sit on the steering committee of the women's forum, with Charlotte co-leading the forum's mentoring programme.

Chambers is delighted to support the work of the WCWF.
